Organic TeasOrganic Teas
You can find all our organically produced teas here.
Sample CollectionsSample Collections
By popular demand we are now offering sample collections. Each sample collection will have all the teas from a particular section in sample sizes, for example

Each sample is 10g (except for a couple which are done by unit) and these should give you enough tea for up to four cups.

The contents of these collections may not be exact and we reserve the right to change them at any time, as new teas come and old teas go. If we end up out of stock for a particular tea we may subtitute it for something similar or a new tea that has yet to be added.
Tea Buffs Teas Tea Buffs Teas
This section is reserved for registered Tea Buff members. If you would like to join the Tea Buffs email us for the details.

Here you can find new, special and rare teas that we can only source in small amounts, or that are only made to order or are particularly unusual. These teas will only be visible to our Tea Buffs members who are logged into the site.

The special teas in this section will not feature on the printed brewing notes enclosed with orders and may not always have photos and are only available in the one size pack. When we have sold all our stock of a particular tea we may never be able to source it again.
Pu Erh Teas Pu Erh Teas
Our Pu Erh range of teas has expanded so much and is selling so fast we have given them their own section.

Black TeaBlack Tea
Black tea is perhaps the best known, most familiar tea in western countries, but familiarity can leave you drinking without tasting. Our superb single estate speciality loose leaf teas provide you with an array of choice and taste you will not find in tea bags or at your supermarket. Black tea has many health benefits, enjoys less caffeine content than coffee, is high in specific antioxidants and other benefical components. Black tea can be enjoyed all day, as a pick me up in the morning to a relaxing drink before bedtime.

Please see our tea and health section for more information about the health benefits of tea.
Oolong Tea (Blue Teas)Oolong Tea (Blue Teas)
Oolong teas are not fully fermented, they lie between the full oxidation of black and the minimal oxidation of green teas. They often have large beautiful leaves suitable for multiple infusions. They come from China and Taiwan. Oolongs from Taiwan often have the prefix Formosa, meaning beautiful island - the name the Dutch explorers gave to Taiwan. Oolong means black dragon in Chinese - sometimes spelled Wu Long.
Green TeaGreen Tea
Our selection of green teas is expanding. Please remember to look at our Exotic section as well, where you will find some additional top quality and very different green teas.

Green tea is the earliest form of tea. It is processed without oxidation of the leaves. Green tea produces a light, refreshing liquor that rarely requires milk or sugar. It possesses many health benefits including lower levels of caffeine and high levels of various antioxidants making it essential as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Please see our tea and health section for more information about the health benefits of tea.
Exotic TeaExotic Tea
A range of exquisitely beautiful speciality teas, handmade in China, these masterpieces of tea art are difficult to find. They are exported from China directly to us by air to ensure their freshness. Each one tastes as impressive as it looks.

Most of our Exotic greens are suitable for multiple infusions. This is the tradition in China. You simply add more hot water to your mug 'refreshing' the leaves. Often the best flavour comes through on the second or third infusion. One serving of tea can keep you going for most of the day!

Our exotic greens should always be prepared with hot (but not boiling water) around 80 deg C. Using boiling water will produce a completely different flavoured tea; you will miss the sweet round flavour that the tea makers intended. For a full visual effect infuse your exotic tea in a glass - see the 'ecstasy of the leaves' entry in our glossary.

Please note the Pu Erhs have now moved to their own section.
White Tea White Tea
White teas are the rarest in the world and undergo the least processing of any type of tea. Very small buds and shoot tips are plucked early in the spring at day break and dried to remove all moisture, but slowly to preserve the delicate 'just picked' flavour. Lighter in body than green teas, a white tea has a liquor which is naturally sweet. White teas are particularly rich in antioxidants and in stress relieving theanine.

Please note the Georgian Teas have now moved to our Wildcrafted Tea section.

Yellow Teas Yellow Teas
One of the rarest types of teas yellow teas are produced from carefully picked buds and leaves that are minimally processed. The leaves are piled or wrapped in small parcels where the internal heat generated from their decomposition, slowly stops the oxidation process. The first pan-firing step is missed. Yellow teas often have more caffeine than green teas and yield light colored infusions and delicate taste and aromas. The manufacturing technique comes from a 1,000 year old tradition in China.
Wildcrafted Teas Wildcrafted Teas
Nothing But Tea's new Wildcrafted White Teas from Malawi are produced entirely by hand on Satemwa Tea Estate, the smallest commercial tea garden in Malawi and one which has been in the same family for three generations. Technical collaboration with Teacraft Ltd has resulted in a range of natural White Teas that are unique in flavour and are to our knowledge the only White Teas being commercialey produced in the whole of Africa. Satemwa tea estate encourages hand production of teas using skilled small farmers; the estate is Fairtrade registered and their tea is organic certified.

We suggest you steep your Malawi White Teas at 75°C for five minutes. Multiple steeping gives a wonderful spectrum of flavours with rosy floral and spicey notes becoming more marked in successive steeps. If your tap water is hard or chlorinated we suggest, for best results, using filtered water - our Bellima cellulose filters clear hard water as you boil your kettle. Malawi Wildcrafted White Teas are available as single bud Needles - equivalent to Chinese Yin Zhen, and Peony - equivalent to Chinese Pai Mu Dan made from two leaf and a bud shoots. The colours, tastes, and aromas are not like standard China White Tea - but the delicacy and sweetness are similar.

Flavoured Tea Flavoured Tea
Choose from our selection of black and green flavoured teas. Equally delightful hot, or chilled and served over ice. They offer a pleasant alternative.

Fine tea is selected and blended with herbs, spices and fruits or scented with natural oils and flower blossoms to complement the tea flavour. While there are literally thousands of combinations possible, we offer some old favorites and some intriguing new ones.

TisanesTisanes
Tisanes are teas made from leaves, flowers or roots, of plants other than from the Camelia sinesis bush. We offer a selection of tisanes ranging from the South African wonder herbs Rooibos and Honeybush to some more traditional European herbals. All of our Tisanes are naturally caffeine free (with the exception of Mate). And some offer other health benefits.
