Close to the Bramaputra river, this small and scenic garden produces one of the world's finest teas. This garden was named after Hazel the daughter of the famous public servant Dr. Mead. Due to its richness, and the golden colour of its tips Hazelbank is guaranteed to be a favourite amongst Assam tea devotees.

Brewing Advice: one teaspoon per mug. Add fresh, boiling water (100 deg C), steep for two or three minutes according to taste.

This organic Assam comes from the Sewpur Tea Estate in Tinsukia district of Assam. They have been producing tea here for over a hundred years.

As you would expect from an Assam this tea has a malty taste, is full bodies and stands up to the addition of milk and makes a great breakfast tea being strong but smooth in flavour.

This tea is plucked after the rains in the Darjeeling Fourth Flush. This Darjeeling has more of the character that used to be imported into England 40 years ago, since when Darjeeling growers have favoured the very light processing that is preferred in Germany. This tea is picked in the Second Flush which occurs during June/July time and comes from the Margerets Hope Tea Estate., which is located at 2,000 meters in Southern Darjeeling. The estate was founded over a hundered years ago and was renamed in the 1930's when its owner visited the estate with his daughter Margaret. Margaret adored the estate, sadly on her return to England she fell ill and passed away. As atribute to his daughter the owner renamed the Estate Margaret's Hope.

This tea has a bright liquor and a fine muscatel character.
