The combination of strawberry, mint and bamboo intrigued me, but I wasn't sure I'd like it, so I bought a sample of this tea. After the first sip, I loved it.
Dry, this tea smells very strongly of strawberries, and of very little else. The scent of the infusion itself is very different: there’s an odd vegetal note in the scent that I assume to be the bamboo. This tea has a very complex flavour, with strawberry sweetness and minty coolness combining perfectly. I was pleased that the taste of the additions didn't overshadow the taste of the sencha base, as I love sencha, so for me this tea was perfect. I'll definitely be buying more soon.
